What is the BMW Curved Display?

The latest technology from BMW combines the instrument cluster and infotainment system into a 14.9-inch curved display. This display, utilizing BMW's brand new iDrive operating system, offers a customizable and responsive touchscreen to allow the driver to access information such as navigation, weather, media player content, and also climate control settings. On the left side, you'll have access to standard vehicle information like speed, range, outside temperature, and more. You can also connect with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

BMW designed iDrive to be the safest and simplest operating system with intuitive, easy-to-use controls to enhance your driving experience. It also offers BMW's Intelligent Personal Assistant to allow for voice control of navigation, climate control, and entertainment controls. It can even tell you when your next maintenance is needed or what your tire pressure is at. To access your Intelligent Personal Assistant, just say "Hello BMW" to get started.

The BMW Curved Display is part of BMW's "Act, Locate and Inform" principle. "Act" includes the Heads-Up Display helping with driving interactions. "Locate" involves the information display on the left side of the Curved Display. "Inform", on the right side of the Curved Display, is your information center. All three together create a safe, entertaining, and exciting driving experience.
