What's New for 2024?

The introduction of the all-wheel drive xDrive40 trim is the main change for the 2024 model year. The i4 xDrive40 now gives shoppers the option for all-wheel drive without needing to upgrade to the top-of-the-line M50 trim. The i4 xDrive40 is also the most powerful non-M i4 model with up to 396 horsepower and has the highest estimated range of up to 307 miles*. Additionally, for 2024, all BMW i4 models come with the iDrive 8.5 Operating System, upgraded from the previous iDrive 8 OS.

2024 BMW i4 Exterior Design

The 2024 BMW i4 has a Gran Coupe body style, which means it has 4-doors like a sedan but a swooping roofline like a 2-door coupe. The result is a stylish yet practical and efficient exterior design.

The available M Sport package adds sportier exterior enhancements, including an aerodynamic body kit, gloss-black Shadowline trim, and 19" M Double-spoke wheels.

Fourteen exterior colors are available, ranging from classic colors like Alpine White and Black Sapphire Metallic to more modern colors like Brooklyn Grey Metallic and Frozen Portimao Blue Metallic.

2024 BMW i4 Interior

The 2024 BMW i4 interior seats up to five passengers and has up to 45.6 cubic feet of rear cargo space with the rear seats folded down.

Standard interior features include the modern BMW Curved Display instrument cluster/central information screen, sport seats in perforated SensaTec, a moonroof, and cabin preconditioning with the My BMW App.

Available features include heated and ventilated front seats, Vernasca leather upholstery, lumbar support, wireless device charging, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system.

2024 BMW i4 Technology

The 2024 BMW i4 comes standard with the iDrive 8.5 Operating System, which includes Remote Software Upgrades to keep your vehicle up-to-date with the latest features, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which can help you perform various functions with simple voice commands.

The i4 also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard.

Available technology features include a head-up display, surround-view camera with a 3D view, and 5G connectivity.

2024 BMW i4 Performance

The 2024 BMW i4 M50 has 536 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 130 MPH. The i4 xDrive40 has a range of up to 307 miles* and can get 108 miles of range with only 10 minutes of charging at a DC Fast Charger.

Standard performance features include rear air suspension, aerodynamic wheels, and three drive modes: COMFORT, SPORT, and ECO PRO.

Available features include M Sport Brakes, Adaptive M Suspension, and Variable Sport Steering.
